Beitou Exhibition Center
Located in the Midwestern area of Nanshan sub-district neighborhood, Beitou community is now a modern, urban mixture that was once a village in history. The Exhibition Center enhances the immigrant community’s understanding of the city’s history, leaving an urban archives and cultural wealth to future Shenzheners. The Center has developed into a unique local culture education base, an important exhibition of country and village life and an educational base for local villagers, reminding them of the source of getting rich and making progress after becoming affluent.

OCT Art and Design Gallery
The OCT Art & Design Gallery is China’s first gallery in modern and innovative design, with a total of 2,000 square meters of its 3,000 square meters floor space designated with temperature controlled exhibition halls and archives. The Gallery is dedicated to encourage and develop vanguard design. It is involved with a variety of design industries such as, graphic and space design, product and fashion design, digital and animation design and targets many other dynamic and contemporary arts. It also organizes an art salon for artists and gallery visitors.

Huaxia Art Center
Founded in 1991 by OCT, Huaxia Art Center is a comprehensive cultural entity aiming to promote Chinese civilization, strengthen cultural exchanges with other countries, enhance people’s quality of life and make full use of the educational functions of the arts. Covering a total area of 13,500 square meters, Huaxia Art Center includes an Art Square and a main "V" shaped building, which won the Golden Award of China Architecture Design. The symbolic construction is elegant and magnificent in style. It is an man-made site, reflecting a unique combination of traditional and modern Chinese and western culture.

Nanshan library is a cultural and art landmark in Nanshan District, which covers an area of 13,728 square meters. It has a construction area of 18,770 square meters, and houses 600,000 books and has more than 1,000 seats. Since opening in March 1997, it has established a total of eight branches directly managed by the library and which have spread to the industrial zone and the near-by communities.

Shenzhen Book City (Nanshan Store)
Located in the central business and culture area of Nanshan District, Shenzhen Book City (Nanshan Store) represents regional cultures with an emphasis on reading and learning, and highlights the elegant life style along Shenzhen Bay.
